Canaport LNG Announces Plans to Build Third LNG Tank

Saint John, NB (September 6, 2007) – Canaport LNG LP, the partnership between Repsol and Irving Oil, today announced plans to construct a third 160,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tank alongside its two existing tanks.

Saint John, New Brunswick – Lorneville Mechanical Contractors (LMC) a Saint John-based mechanical service and engineering company has been awarded a significant contract to construct the steel interior and roofs of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks at Canaport LNG, an import and regassification terminal under construction in Saint John.
