Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor

This position requires dynamic and proactive people, possessing analytical abilities that can identify opportunities for improvements in maintenance processes, training and terminal maintenance development. Must have good interpersonal skills to interact and motivate outside agencies and to continually move forward with the goal of achieving operational excellence and increased reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on leadership in the field, focusing on safety, while working alongside Contractors and Operators aligning Work Processes, Safe Work Plans, Permits, Lock and Tag Out certificates and other related documentation.
  • Assess priority of corrective work notifications to minimize risk and maximize equipment availability.
  • Participate in daily technical and planning meetings
  • Prepare regulatory correspondence, briefing material and other public documents
  • Develop reports and periodic maintenance evaluations
  • Participate in any optimization and evaluation activities, including internal/external audits

Qualifications Include:

  • Certified Engineering Technologist or applicable electrical and/or instrumentation trade with 5 years experience, preferably in the petroleum/gas industry
  • Complete knowledge of all MS Office Programs
  • Be willing to work flexible hours
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to effectively coordinate and manage a variety of activities
  • Results-oriented and the ability to communicate forward into the working environment
